About Indie Campers Chicago - RV & Campervan Rentals
Indie Campers runs a rental lot near Chicago Airport, and travelers often talk about the staff. Many reviewers call the team helpful and friendly, with one person getting a shoutout, but others describe long waits at pickup, sometimes hours, when only one employee was working. The vans themselves get mixed notes: some are clean and spacious, while a few renters found minor things broken or had to fix fuses on the road. The fleet includes campervans and RVs, and rentals come with unlimited mileage and one-way options. The company advertises 24/7 support and over 80 locations worldwide. Reviewers mention phone support was slow but did resolve problems like expired tags. People who had a good experience often say they would rent again. Pickup and drop-off are the main friction point. Some found the process fantastic, while others dealt with slow personal service or a booked camper that was not available. If you want a quick handover, plan for extra time at the counter.
