About El Monte RV Rentals
El Monte RV Rentals runs a motorhome rental branch in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and also handles trailer rentals and insurance. It sits at 3.2 stars across 71 Google reviews, so the feedback runs mixed. Reviewers bring up cost the most, and several mention paying and refunds. Pickup is the other recurring theme: people describe waits of one to two hours while the RV gets prepped and the contract is processed, and more than one calls the Glen Ellyn pickup process a mess. A few say the walkthrough felt rushed. One renter wished the water tank explanation had been clearer, since a full tank raised gas use on the trip. Not everyone had a rough time. A first-time renter called the unit clean and better than a competitor's, and another reported no problems with the vehicle over four days. If you book here, plan for extra time at pickup and ask questions during the walkthrough.

“I was little worried, reading other reviews, but we had good experience renting from El Monte RV! I'll start with negatives and possibly things to improve (in my opinion).” – Krystian W., 6 years ago, on Google
“We tried renting an RV for the first time and had a great experience. El Monte is a better unit than its competitor (CA). Everything worked with the exception of a loose fan in the range hood.” – X X., 11 months ago, on Google
“We just rented a large class c for four days . The unit was 2025 with 48k on it . We had no problems with the unit , I suggest that you video the presentation ( they speak quickly) so that you can go back for reference if needed.” – Cathy L., a year ago, on Google
