Travel Trailer Rental in Houston, TX
Houston spreads out, and so does its RV supply. Three travel trailer rentals serve the metro, and all three will deliver the rig to your driveway or campsite, which matters when you would rather not tow through traffic. The average rating sits at 3.9 across the listings, so read the reviews before you commit. I have rented four RVs in my time, and the one that taught me the most was the cheap one.

What is on the lot
Three companies in Houston rent travel trailers, and the wider metro also lists three motorhome options and two camper van choices, so you have room to compare. All three trailer outfits offer delivery, which saves you the tow vehicle question entirely. Delivery usually means the trailer is set up and leveled before you arrive. Ask who handles the black tank and the freshwater hookup, and get the drop-off window in writing. My worst rental ever started with a vague delivery time.
Who to call first
American Dream Vacations NW HOU RV Rentals / Texas Best RV Buyers carries the best rating of the three at 4.7 from 57 reviews, and it rents motorhomes, camper vans and trailers with delivery. Roaming Bears RV has the deepest review history at 188 reviews and a 4.0 average, plus service, parts and sales if something needs fixing. Outdoorsy is the marketplace option at 2.9 from 10 reviews, with delivery and insurance listed. A marketplace means the rig and the owner vary, so check the specific unit and its own reviews before booking.
Money and fine print
Budget beyond the nightly rate. Mileage caps and generator-hour fees are the two add-ons that catch people, and I have paid a generator surcharge I did not see coming. Ask what the security deposit covers and when it comes back. Confirm how insurance works, both the company's coverage and what your own auto policy does or does not extend to a trailer. Pet rules differ by owner, so state your dog up front. One-way drop is not offered here, so plan a loop back to Houston. Kitchen and linen kits are often optional extras, so ask before you pack.
