About Cruise America RV Rental
Cruise America's South Bend branch rents Standard RVs and Large RVs. It's part of a company that calls itself the largest RV rental operation in North America, with more than 110 rental centers, and it's employee-owned. The company dates to 1972 and rents for camping trips, tailgates and music festivals. The reviews here are mixed and few, just four on Google with a 3.3 average. One person described a rough pickup at this location: they said the RV and paperwork didn't match and the generator kept cutting out. Another reviewer listed broken items in their unit, including the refrigerator and a bathroom sink, and found the vehicle very noisy on the road. Both still seemed to enjoy the trip itself. On the friendlier side, one reviewer called the staff friendly and helpful after stopping in to check out an RV. Hours vary, so it isn't a 24/7 counter. If you're near South Bend and weighing a rental here, the reviews suggest a close walkthrough before you drive off.

“The RV we rented had several things not working: refrigerator, bathroom sink, support post for the table. Even without that, the vehicle was VERY noisy. Our dog is normally a good car rider and shook the entire time we were driving.” – Heather G., 4 months ago, on Google
