About Cruise America RV Rental
Cruise America runs a rental center in Monroe, part of a North American network that's been renting RVs since 1972. The company is employee-owned. The lot offers Standard RVs and Large RVs. It's a big operation with more than 110 rental centers, so the Monroe spot fits into a much wider system. Reviews here are a mixed bag, averaging three stars across a small handful of them. One traveler had a smooth first rental, praising the RV's size and the staff member who walked them through setup and was courteous with the details. The 30ft unit in another review was a different story: the renter reported mechanical trouble, mirrors not working, and doors opening mid-drive. A third reviewer had generator problems and said the corporate office was unhelpful, though the Charlotte office apologized and refunded two days of rental fees. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible. With only three reviews, the picture is thin, so weigh the specific RV and its condition before you book.
