About Cruise America RV Rental
Cruise America runs a rental center in Charlotte offering Compact Plus, Standard and Large RVs. It's part of a North American network of over 110 locations, and the company has been renting rigs since 1972 for camping trips, tailgates and festivals. Reviews here average 3.7 across 20 ratings, and the staff get the most praise. Several reviewers name Brian and Eddie for staying late on a weekend and walking them through the RV. Not everyone had that experience though, with one reviewer describing poor treatment from other representatives. Vehicle condition is the bigger split. One renter picked up a large RV that smelled bad and had mold in the fridge and freezer, and another reported a broken AC and a door that wouldn't stay shut. A third warned to photograph the odometer before leaving because of a mileage charge dispute. Check the rig carefully at pickup.
