About Cruise America RV Rental and Sales
Cruise America runs a rental center in Carson that offers travel trailers and compact RVs, plus a few larger classes. It's part of a big North American chain that's been renting RVs since 1972 and is employee-owned. The place has a 4.0 rating across 882 Google reviews, so plenty of people have opinions. Staff come up often. Reviewers call them friendly, helpful, and patient, and one person said a specific employee was the reason they booked here instead of another location. The pick-up process gets mixed notes. Some found check-in easy, others waited a while past their appointment time, and a few say the pick-up window isn't a guarantee since returned vehicles need cleaning first. Trailers and units are described as clean in several reviews, and one renter took a larger RV down to San Diego with no issues. Not everyone left happy. One reviewer had a door that kept popping open on the highway. If you're booking, read the fine print about confirming your pick-up time.
