About Outdoorsy
Outdoorsy is a peer-to-peer rental platform, not a lot full of company-owned RVs. You browse listings from individual owners around San Diego, and each one includes details and reviews to help you pick. The range covers motorhomes, camper vans, and travel trailers, including some that can be delivered to your spot. First-time campers who didn't want to tow had a trailer delivered to Julian and said it showed up early and ready. Reviewers often mention responsive hosts. One renter said their host was informative and the RV came packed with towels, a coffee maker, and kitchen utensils. A couple who flew in from Memphis rented a camper van and said it opened up adventures a hotel and rental car couldn't. Others praise the ease of comparing vehicles on the platform. Not every trip goes smoothly. A few reviews describe breakdowns, including a dead battery and a check engine light, and say customer service left them stuck with the vehicle until the end of the trip. The company responds to those reviews. It's open 24/7, and with 16 Google reviews it holds a 4.3 rating.
