About Outdoorsy
Outdoorsy is a peer-to-peer RV rental marketplace based in Los Angeles. You can book motorhomes, camper vans, and travel trailers from individual owners. Delivery is available if you'd rather not drive. The company operates 24/7. Reviews are mixed. Some renters praise the selection and cleanliness, and one host earned kind words for good communication. Others report problems: an RV that didn't match the listing, missing or damaged awnings, exposed wires, a bent ladder, and a fridge that didn't work. Several mention confusing pricing with extra fees and lots of paperwork. A few renters call the platform a scam and say Outdoorsy doesn't back renters when listings are inaccurate. The unlimited miles perk came up as a plus. With a 3.3 rating from 32 reviews, it's worth reading the fine print and inspecting the unit before you drive off. Ask about the electrical hookup if you're towing.
