About El Monte RV
El Monte RV rents motorhomes and camper vans from their San Leandro lot. Reviewers mention clean, comfortable rigs and a straightforward pick-up and drop-off process. A few employees speak German. One reviewer called the pick-up quick and efficient, and another said the campers made a good impression. Not every trip goes smoothly. One review describes an RV with poor air conditioning and a fridge that stopped working. Another said the vehicle felt rickety and the beds were sagged. Both highlight the gap between expectations and what they got. On the plus side, a family on their first RV trip said everything worked well. They even hit a deer, but the RV stayed safe to drive. Insurance is mentioned, and the office has wheelchair accessible entrance and parking. Open hours vary, so call ahead.
