About Cruise America RV Rental
Cruise America runs a rental center in Fillmore with Standard and Large motorhomes. The company has been renting RVs since 1972 and calls itself the largest RV rental outfit in North America, with over 110 locations. It is employee-owned. Reviews mostly land on the good side, at 4.6 stars across 97 ratings. People repeatedly mention cleanliness, and the pickup and drop-off process comes up often as smooth. Several reviewers call the staff pleasant and say booking was easy, and a few single out Harold by name for walking them through it. Not every rental goes clean. One reviewer described dead batteries and a broken converter that left them stranded, plus tanks that were not dumped. Another said the walkthrough was thin and wished they had asked more about the dump valves. If you book here, ask questions during the demo and check the tanks yourself before you pull out.
