About Cruise America RV Rental
Cruise America runs a rental center in Antioch, part of an employee-owned company that has been renting RVs since 1972. Standard RVs and Large RVs are both available. Pets are allowed. The local rating sits at 1.8 from 12 reviews, and the complaints are specific. Several renters describe units that were dirty or not ready at pickup, with broken valves, hatch locks, a missing shower head, and a water heater that left them with cold showers. Others mention battery trouble, a broken toilet seat, and refrigerators taped up and coming loose on the road. Reviewers also write about money disputes and say calls after pickup went unanswered. One first-time renter had a better experience, calling the staff friendly and professional and the 24 foot unit clean and ready, with a walkthrough of the systems. They still had the cabin battery die overnight. That mix is worth knowing before you book.

“First time RV'rs. Antioch California location: Friendly and professional. 24' was clean and ready when we showed up. Walked us thru everything and all of the systems. I wish I had paid a bit more attention to the battery charging info.” – Thomas T., 2 years ago, on Google
