About Adventures on Wheels, Inc
Adventures on Wheels has been renting motorhomes out of South Amboy for more than 20 years. The fleet is factory new, current model year rigs, and the shop also sells refurbished used RVs and does service work on them. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. Sabine, Dominic and Mark get named for walking first-timers through the whole thing, from picking the right size to the walk-around before pulling out. People mention the units arriving clean and ready, and one renter said a 32-foot Class C ran great on a 1,500-mile trip to Maine and back. Booking changes come up too, in a good way. When plans shifted, the team adjusted reservations without a fight. Several reviewers describe them as honest and responsive, and a few say pickup and drop-off were quick, with no nickel and diming. The place is wheelchair accessible, and the rating sits at 4.7 from 32 Google reviews.

“I had a very positive experience with Adventures on Wheels. I rented a 32' Class C RV from them, in August 2022 that we drove about 1500 miles from New Jersey to Maine and back. The RV was in great shape, was relatively new, and ran great.” – Brandon J., 4 years ago, on Google
“We just had an amazing vacation! Adventures on Wheels was such a pleasure to work with. This was our first RV rental so we were a little nervous. When we went to pick up the RV it was clean/ sanitized and ready to go.” – Miranda V., 5 years ago, on Google
